Mikel lashes out at Nigria team coach Siasia

Mikel Agu who plays as a midfielder for Portuguese football giant Porto FC has revealed he was unhappy with the central defence role that was handed to him by Nigeria Olympic team coach Samson Siasia.

Mikel who plays as defensive midfielder, lashed out as Siasia, who plays him often as a central defender.

While speaking with Africanfootball.com, he said “I did not like the position I was played in the national team,” “...For 90% of the trainings and games I did for the team, I played in central defence.”

Mikel, will be seen in Vitoria Setubal shirt this season after joining on loan from FC Porto.

He had a long layoff last season, due to injury.
