Adebayor's move to Lyon fell through

Written by: Oladayo Juan Joe Bamidele

Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor's move to Olympique Lyonnais has collapsed.

According to ESPN.com, Lyon wants to sign the former Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace man, after having striker Alexandre Lacazette out injured.

Lyon CEO Olivier Blanc who revelaed that deal fell through "Our recruit could have been him, but in the end, it won't be him."

Emmanuel Adebayor was released by Crystal Palace at the end of last season after an unimpressing season with them.

MY VIEW

Let's hope the African man get himself a good team at the end. I believe he can still perform some wonders, but not in a top club anylonger.
