English side, Arsenal made a stunning €60million bid for Gabon international striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the summer transfer window.
The striker has enjoyed fortune with Borussia Dortmund, establishing himself as one of the best strikers in Europe.
According to El Confidencial, English side Arsenal almost signed him in the summer. The player recently said he would like to play for European giants, Real Madrid.
According to El Confidencial, Gunners tabled around €60 million bid to sign the player. But, Dortmund had no intention of selling their star player, except for a world record fee.
Borussia Dortmund chief, Hans-Joachim Watzke stated this week: "If at some point there really is an offer of €100 million or €120 million for him, then we will discuss it."
MY VIEW
Well, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is indeed a good player, but the fee mentioned by BVB chief is just to exorbitant for 'an average' player.
