Former Arsenal striker to join Championship side

Oladayo Juan Joe Bamidele

English Championship side, Nottingham Forest are on the verge of signing former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, according to BBC Radio Nottingham.

The Denmark 28years old international, is a free agent after being released by German club Wolfsburg.

The forward was at Forest on Tuesday to discuss personal terms with the team.

While at Arsenal, Bendtner scored 45 goals in 171 games between 2005 and 2014. He had loan spells at Sunderland, Birmingham City and Juventus during his time with the Gunners.

Bendtner has scored 29 goals in 72 appearances for his home nation.

MY VIEW
This tall man has fallen from grace, moving from Europe's top teams to a Championship team. Mostly due to indiscipline.

All hail Lord Bendtner!
