Finland top division Finnish club, Seinajoen Jalkapallokerho populary known as SJK has released some players which are predominantly of blacks.
SJK are currently fourth on the top division league table in Finland. Having played 29 games, acquiring 49 points in the process.
The club released the players with no genuine reason for letting them out of the club.
Nigerian defender Abonima Izoegbu, Ivorian player, Abdoulaye Meite and El-Hadju Gana Kane from Senegal were all affected in the clear-out that only affected black players. This move is viewed by many as racially driven.
The only African player left in the squad is Cameroonian striker, Ariel Ngueukam.
We urge football governing body in Europe as well as FIFA to look into the matter.
