MLS Ghana international called up for international duty

Ghana international and MLS Crew SC defender, Harrison Afful has joined Ghana national team for.

Afful, 30, joined Ghana as they prepare for their World Cup qualifier game against Uganda on Friday in Tamale.

This will be Black Stars first Group E game of CAF qualifying third round for the 2018 world cup, others in the group are Egypt and Congo.

Winners of each group, A - E, will represent Africa at the 2018 World Cup.

Afful has started in all 37 of Crew SC competitive game since joining the MLS team, scoring two goals, and registering five assists during the period. He is the only Crew SC player called on international duty.

The Ghana international has 63 caps to his name.
