Morocco 4 - 0 Canada: Renard's men stretch unbeaten record

Written by: Tawfeeq Hassan

Morocco cruised to a 4-0 win over Canada, extending their unbeaten run since January.

Morocco secured a 4-0 win over Canada in a friendly game played on Tuesday to continue their fine form and maintain their unbeaten run since coach Herve Renard took over.

French man, Renard took over the coaching role just after the African Cup of Nations, unbeaten all along, and conceding just once in eight matches.

Morocco took the lead after Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez's early opener in Marrakech in the 12th minute. Hakim Ziyech scored two penalties and substitute Rachid Alioui's deflected shot was enough to give the home side their well deserved victory.

WRITER'S OPINION

Morocco seem to be unstoppable since the beginning of the reign of coach Herve Renard. The Nations Cup in January will definitely be one to watch out for.
