Zambian President Edgar Chagwa Lungu is expected to watch the match between Zambia and Nigeria in a World Cup qualifier on Sunday, reports Africanfootball.com.
The match will be the very first FIFA World Cup qualifying match at senior level between the two countries, with the game expected to kick off at 2.30pm Zambia time and 1.30pm Nigeria time.
Delegation from Nigeria arrived in Ndola minutes after noon on Saturday, led by Nigerian sports minister Solomon Dalung, which included NFF president Amaju Pinnick, NFF vice presidents Seyi Akinwunmi and Shehu Dikko, some members of the National Assembly and some members of the NFF Executive Committee.
They were welcomed by officials of the High Commission of Nigeria in Zambia and officials from the FA of Zambia; as well as some Nigerian youth waving a big banner and miniature Nigerian flags.
It's definitely going to be a match to watch, especially with the presence of high profile citizens from both countries.
