Arsenal: Iwobi ranked third as Sanchez wins player of the month

Nigeria Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi lost Arsenal's Player of the Month to Chilean, Alexis Sanchez.

Arsenal published the outcome of voting through their official website. Sanchez coming first, Walcott second and the Nigerian coming third.

Iwobi made five appearances for Arsenal in all competitions in the month of September, including a game against Chelsea where he was the Man of the Match award.

Alexis Sanchez polled 39.4 percent of the votes, Theo Walcott, 23.2 percent, and Alex Iwobi 18.4 percent.

The attacking midfielder is currently on international duty with Nigeria team.
