Nigeria and Leicester City players Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi have been confirmed to be part of the national team squad.
According to reports in the Super Eagles camp, around fifty percent of the players called up are already in Nigeria for preparations of the World Cup qualifications match against Cameroon.
Some big names are however still missing in the Super Eagles camp, with the whereabouts of Mikel Obi, Mikel Agu, William Troost-Ekong, Daniel Akpeyi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Odion Ighalo, Oghenekaro Etebo, Dele Alampasu, Eddy Onazi and Elderson Echiejile still not known.
Ihaanacho will, however, report to the squad as soon as he can. This was clearly stated by the forward's father, James Iheanacho.
"Kelechi is coming for the match, hopefully, this night he will join the team," James Iheanacho told newsmen.
