Nigeria Super Eagles forward Aaron Samuel will return in January from a long-term knee injury.
His agent, Atta Aneke disclosed this during the week. He said: “Everything is going well with Aaron’s rehabilitation and he is expected back in action in January.”
The 22-year-old forward picked up an injury during his loan spell with Russian premier league giants, CSKA Moscow.
He was injured during the Russian Cup final against Zenit St Petersburg in April, and was operated June in Germany. He is now on holidays in Nigeria.
He played for CSKA Moscow last season, on loan from Chinese side, Guangzhou R&F.
