French champions, Paris Saint-Germain were ready to pay £170 million for Neymar's release clause in the summer, but failed to complete the transfer because of the player's £40m debt, as reported by L'Equipereports.
The Barcelona forward has is charged on tax evasion case since moving to Barcelona, which has led to his assets being frozen by authorities.
According to the report, Neymar requested for a salary of £22m per year, and the settlement of his £40 million debts if they are to bring him to Paris.
PSG refused to bulge to his demand in the summer, which led him to sign a contract a five-year-contract with Barcelona.
