Everton forward, Wayne Rooney is on the verge of completing a move to America Major League Soccer side, DC United.
The former English international is believed to have almost completed a transfer to the side, which according to source will be finalized on July 10 which is when the MLS transfer will open.
His move from Everton to DC United is expected to be confirmed and announced soon. However, the forward will return to the Toffees' training facility, joining up with the rest of the squad by Monday morning.
Rooney has plans of staying with Everton for the new season, however, he has been made to understand that he's not in their plans for the new season.
Wayne Rooney returned to Everton last summer after penning a 2-year deal, having played for English giants Manchester United since 2004.
Rooney is England's all-time leading scorer and joining MLS will be a boost to the audience of the league.
