Frank McCourt, an American businessman has bought French Ligue 1 side Marseille for £40.6m.
He was the former owner of Los Angeles Dodgers. He told French news outlet, L'Equipehe that he plans to invest 200m euros (£180m) in the club for the next four years.
Marseille finished 13th last season, and are currently 12th on the table after playing nine games. The Fans are not happy with the situation of the 9-time champions of Ligue 1.

"We're going to put our club back on the road to glory," McCourt, 63 said.
Former owner Margarita Louis-Dreyfus, has been criticised by fans for not spending on the club, labeling her as an "incompetent rich heiress".
