West Ham player, Sofiane Feghouli has been omitted from Algeria’s final 23-man squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
He has struggled for form and playing time with the Hammers this season with Feghouli featuring in just seven games, coming from the bench in all of the matches.
As reported by BBC Sport, manager George Leekens has decided not to take the former Valencia winger to the competition in Gabon.
Feghouli made three appearances for Algeria in 2016, however, his limited playing time at West Ham has damaged his chance for the 2016 African Cup of Nations.
WRITER'S OPINION
Not a good one for Feghouli... However, the coach has made his decision.
