Victor Moses has pulled out of Super Eagles squad to face Zambia in World Cup 2018 qualifiers after suffering a hamstring injury in Chelsea 2-0 win over Hull City.

He was named man of the match, playing in a new role as a wing back assigned by manager Antonio Conte who has unwavering faith in the Nigerian.

Moses confirmed via his twitter handle that he pulled his hamstring in the game.

"Buzzing with the win today, brilliant team performance and great 3 points. Our fans were amazing!. Unfortunately I’m feeling my hamstring and so the club medical team will be reviewing me. Will be working hard to get fit asap #CFC”.

This brings the number of star players who have pulled out of the tie to two, as he joins defender Leon Balogun on the sidelines.

Captain John Mikel Obi and Moses Simon are also battling various fitness issues ahead of the clash.
