Liverpool forward scores hattrick to help Dutch side to a win

Nigeria international and Liverpool loanee, Taiwo Awoniyi scored a hattrick for NEC Nijmegen to kick start his loan with the club.

The hattrick is coupled with two assists for the Dutch side in their 5-0 friendly win over FC Kleve.

His debut was delayed by inability to obtain work permit, until it was all cleared last week.

The forward will be wearing number 9 shirt for the Dutch side this new season. He will also be looking forward to impress Peter Hyballa for more starting role for the team.

Next up for NEC Nijmegen is a league game against Dutch giant, PSV Eindhoven on 10th September.

The forward's progress will be closely monitored by Liverpool technical crew in a bid to include him in their first team in the future if he find a very good form with the Dutch side.
