Wenger not happy with Sanchez

Written by: Oladayo Juan Joe Bamidele

Arsene Wenger is unhappy with Alexis Sanchez taking penalty ahead of regular taker Santi Carzola during their 4-1 win at Hull City.

The fans favourite missed the penalty that could have doubled their lead after being saved by Hull keeper, Eldin Jakupovic.

The penalty came following Jake Livermore's handball that earned him a red card, giving Arsenal a comfortable win.

While speaking with BBC journalists, Wenger said that he will not allow the penalty taker to be changed, and will also talk to the players.

"Santi was down to take it, I don’t know why it did not happen, they have pecking order, it was not planned for Sanchez to take it," said the French man.

"I want to know what happened and for it not to happen again. Overall anyone can miss a penalty, we have to accept that." he added.

Opta Joe reported in their tweet that Sanchez's miss makes him the only Arsenal player to take more than one Premier League penalty without scoring.

Soldier man Wenger. Orders must be respected.
