Reports from Europe suggest that top European clubs
are vying to sign Spanish-born Ghanain player, Inaki Williams.
Teams like Juventus, Liverpool, and Borussia
Dortmund all want the Athletic Bilbao African forward.
According to news agency, Calciomercato, German club,
Borussia Dortmund are leading the chase
for the Bilbao man. He grew from the
ranks of the team academy, alongside Munian; with both players being the
maestro behind of Bilbao’s attack this season.
Both players ply their trade on the flanks, with
Muniain on the attacking left wing and
Williams on the attacking right side, efficiently supporting striker, Aritz
Aduriz.
Williams was born in Spain, with his father being a
Ghanaian and a Liberian mother. He has played at Spain’s youth level. With Ghana
failing in their attempts to lure the youngster to their camp.
Writer’s view
I think Ghana should try more in their attempts to
secure the services of the forward. They can’t afford to loose a prodigy like
this.
