Hull City's key player may miss rest of the season

Written by: Oladayo Juan Joe Bamidele

Hull City's Nigerian-English defender Moses Odubajo may miss the rest of the season following a serious knee injury.

Odubajo, 23, will undergo surgical operation next week after suffering a kneecap injury during a non-contact training session, according to the club.

The player also dislocated the same kneecap in July, but the club claims that he has been making 'excellent strides' before this latest injury.

The club added that the defender will be out for about six months, which might lead to him missing the rest of the season.

He was signed for £3.5m in July 2015, making 45 Championship appearances as Hull City won promotion to the Premier League.

Hull City will play Stoke City on Saturday, and they are currently 16th on the table.

Get well soon Moses Odubajo!
